Where do I find my heater Model and Serial number details?

Your Model details may be available from several sources, to help you confirm that this audit program affects your heater:
  1. Your Heater Owner’s Manual.
    1. The original Owner’s Manual that came with the heater has the model and serial number embedded in the document towards the last pages.
    2. Your installer may have also inserted this information in the “For Your Records” section of the Owner’s Manual.
  2. Your detailed Installation Invoice from the person / firm that installed your Heater.
  3. Your Building Authority's Compliance Certificate, issued by your licensed Installer.
  4. Your service technician, who may have the details from the Data Plate, attached to the inside of the heater, referenced on a service report or service invoice.
  5. The heater data plate: inside the service access panel – only if easily accessible.
1. Heater Owner's Manual.
2. Example Compliance Certificate
3. Data Plate Example (from inside the heater). Only for your service technician.
While your heater will have a Brivis or Rinnai logo on the outer case, it may not be visible to you. In most cases, your Wall Control will also have the Brivis or Rinnai logo. On occasion, third party controllers are fitted, so it is important to confirm with information from the appliance, not the controller.
